As a dj, activities spread from regular club gigs to the more highbrow and sophisticated private parties. He started up his own studio and production company and releases these tracks on his solo albums and they are found on numerous compilations worldwide.
Not only engaged when it comes to gigs & compilations, Monte La Rue also owns a studio (La Maison La Rue) where it is buzzing with activity. Interludia (2001) saw the release of his debut with the late night MTV-hit ‘Gloom’. In the years that followed, Monte La Rue has produced over 70 tracks by Tom Urleena, Fabergé, Da Vince and Leo Traumen which appeared on compilations worldwide. 2008 sees the release of his 2nd solo album 'The End of the Rainbow' and in 2009 the superb exotica-album 'Dining & Dreaming' by alter-ego Fabergé. He is a regular contributor and reviewer for the DJ Broadcast site and Jazz magazine, and is producing the immens popular Podcast Deluxe on ITunes.
